The
Cheese Club Corporation was founded in 2003 by the Energia-Invest
Company which has conducted its activities in milk industry
of Ukraine since 1993.
The corporation "Cheese Club" is owned by the Company "Renaissance Capital",
which bought 50% shares of the Corporation at the end of year 2006,
and in May of this year – the rest 50%.
At the present time "Renaissance Capital" is an owner of "Cheese Club"
trade mark and the plants, which were part of the Company.
Now therefore, the Company "Renaissance Capital" is in possession of
17 enterprises – 6 dairy farming plants and 11 small raw materials enterprises.
At the present time the Company continues construction of
cheese-making plant in Poltava region, which was started by the former manager of the Corporation
"Cheese Club", its capability is 50 tons of cheese a day; in the near future the company starts
realisation of earlier worked out project for construction of cheese-making plant with
capacity 100 tons of cheese a day in the city of Vinnitsa.
The Corporation is specialized in production and realization
of high-quality milk products of three groups:
Nowadays
the Cheese Club Corporation includes a number of largest milk
enterprises of Ukraine.
Among them are two cheese-making plants: Kaniv Dairy, JSC and
Svitlovodsk Dairy, JSC with general daily production capacity
of 105 tons of cheese or yearly capacity of about 38 000 tons
of cheese. This is the largest cheese-making complex in Ukraine.
Before 2004 practically all volume of cheese produced by Cheese
Club Corporation had been exported. Today one of the marketing
tasks is gradual increase of sales share at the internal market
of Ukraine. We are proud of Svitlovodsk Dairy which at the beginning
of 2004 set the first in Ukraine automated universal line on
production of hard rennet cheeses with productivity of 45 tons
of cheese per day.
In 2005 Cheese Club Corporation finished the reconstruction
of Kaniv Dairy and launched two new automated hard cheese production
lines. First line was put into operation in January 2005 and
the second line - in December. Kaniv Dairy total cheese production
capacity is 65 tons of cheese per day. At the same time the
work of each line is served by 4 persons only. Production is
fully automated: from the milk reception to the packing of finished
product. Kaniv Dairy rates first in terms of capacity among
cheese-makers in the CIS. It should be noted that the second-largest
cheese-making plant in terms of output in Ukraine and the CIS
is Svitlovodsk Dairy.
Cheese Club Corporation dairies are unrivaled
in the CIS, regarding the level of equipment and technologies
applied.
The unique milk-conditioning scheme, practically total elimination
of human participation in cheese production process and line
universality opened up great possibilities for Cheese Club Corporation
for production of high quality cheese with wide range.
With the purpose of milk processing deepening and increase of
ecological cleanness of production the cheese-making enterprises
of the Corporation carry out drying of cheese whey applying
nano-filtration technology.
At present Cheese Club Corporation is
one of the leaders among hard cheese producers and exporters
in Ukraine.
Besides two cheese-making enterprises some dairies directed
to the production of dry milk products and butter belong to
Cheese Club Corporation: SOMMAS (Myronivka Dairy), Bobrovytsya
Dairy, Korsun- Shevchenko Dairy, Talne Dairy, Monastyryshche
Dairy, Vinnytsyamoloko (6 dairies).
By production volumes of these products the Corporation also
occupies one of the leading places in Ukraine. Quality of our
dry milk products is highly appreciated by such well-known companies
as Danon, Êraft Foods Ukraine, Roshen, ÀÂÊ, Hercules, Ukrprodukt.
Dry milk products produced by the Cheese Club Corporation enterprises
are realized not only in Ukraine but also at the world market.
Our consumers are companies from Japan, the Netherlands, Syria,
Bangladesh, Pakistan, Algeria, Bulgaria and Russia.
The Corporation enterprises produce exclusively natural butter,
without vegetable additions, the high-quality characteristics
of which are appreciated both by end users and at the industrial
market. Among our customers are well-known companies-producers
of ice-cream in Ukraine: Musketeer, Hercules, Lasunka; large
Ukrainian and Russian wholesale companies: Ukrprodukt, Foodland,
Òalen Service. The butter produced by Cheese Club Corporation
enterprises is bought by the State Reserve Committee of Ukraine.
Today the staff of the Cheese Club Corporation consists of
more than 3600 persons.
Cheese Club Corporation main activity indexes in 2005:
Cheese Club Corporation is one of the largest cheese producers
in Ukraine and the CIS. The share of Cheese Club Corporation
in production structure of hard cheese in Ukraine amounts 10%.
Within the period of 2005 the Corporation has processed 358
thousand tons of milk (56 % higher than in 2004).
The enterprises of the Corporation produced:
hard rennet cheese - 20,8 thousand tons (53% higher than in
2004);
dry milk products - 18,9 thousand tons (63% higher than in 2004)
butter - 4 thousand tons (by 54% higher than in 2004).
Cheese Club Corporation gross revenue in 2005 was 105 million
US dollars.
